The goal of this program is to provide the End-user with the knowledge and understanding to enable them to work with fall protection equipment on the work site in a safe and competent manner at all times.
Program Learning Objectives are as follows:
- Understand the importance and methods of fall protection planning and hazard assessment.
- Understand the importance of eliminating fall hazards.
- Understand the proper selection of equipment by knowing the limitations,
specifications and importance of Pre-use inspection.
- Ability to identify the components of Personal Fall Protection Systems.
- Understand the regulations relating to Fall Protection in Alberta.
- To enable the end user to properly fit and don a fall protection harness.
